SCOTTS VALLEY ADA ACCESSIBILITY COMMITTEE

SUBJECT: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan
An ADA Accessibility Committee Special Meeting will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. to receive public input on the ADA Transition Plan.
On August 19, 2015, the City Council approved an agreement with Recreation Accessibility Consultants, LLC to perform the accessibility audit and transition plan (Plan) for all the City’s facilities.
The Plan has been completed and a hard copy and electronic version have been submitted to the City. An electronic version of the Plan has been made available for review by the public on the City’s website at the following link http://www.scottsvalley.org/ADAPlan.html and a hard copy is available at City Hall. The Plan was also reviewed by the ADA Accessibility Committee at its meeting on July 21, 2016.
The August 22, 2016 ADA Accessibility Committee agenda will be posted on the City’s website (http://www.scottsvalley.org/council/ADACommittee.html), at the Scotts Valley Senior Center, and the Scotts Valley Library on Friday, August 19, 2016 after 5:00 p.m.
